The Stevens Competition (Worshipful Company of Glazier & Painters of Glass)
The Stevens Competition is a prestigious glass competition, ran annually by the Worshipful Company of Glazier & Painters of Glass since 1972. Each year entrants design, and often fabricate part of, Stained Glass panels to satisfy a brief. There are various prizes and one contestant could win the opportunity to create their panel, with past winners creating works for churches, schools and all manner of esteemed buildings.
The Stained Glass Display Company are delighted to have helped artists to display their prize-winning work in impressive surroundings, such as University College Hospital London and Moden College. The SGDC are proud to have worked alongside artists to help them realise their artwork, where its scope was outside that of traditionally achievable means.
With most of our systems, once the installation is complete, you never notice the frames or mounts.
